Found this picture on the GoPro Facebook page, in their “Photo of the Day” album. Taken in Pont du Diable, France, this picture encapsulates everything that is great about adventure, and the GoPro camera.
“Lofi point and shoot 35mm camera that looks like a juice box!. Super fun and easy to use - just push the straw.”
Not really sure who came up with this or why; but I have to admit that it would be fun to snap some fisheye pictures with this bad boy. You can pick up the Juice Box 35mm Camera at Urban Outfitters. I mean where else, right?
“The minute-long pixilated animation starts off with a box camera, similar to the Brownie introduced in 1930, touching on some fun throwbacks like a Lomography camera from the 1980s, the good ol’ disposable, ending with a modern-day digital SLR.”
This is a great visualization of the history of cameras, created in a clever and unique way.
Whether you’re a published photographer, a snap-happy picture taker or you simply like looking at photo albums, one can’t help but respect those who have the eye to see beauty in moments that no one else notices. This episode of the Popular Workshop series features Bob Chisholm, a photographer who shares his unique view of life through the lens. Stories like these are fascinating, awe-inspiring and make me smile.
