“The idea was to attract attention to and to make Miller the preferred brand among other six packs in the summer when beer consumption spikes.
Miller is closely linked with music in Turkey. It has been organizing Miller Music Factory,a contest to discover fresh music talents for six years and Miller Freshtival, a music festival, for two years now.
This is why we have chosen music as a theme for our six packs. We havedesigned two sided boxes, one side looks like a speaker and the other is the casette player.This way when three boxes are brought together side by side, they form a boombox.”
There is so much to like about this idea. Not only is the packaging enticing and clever, it actually helped Miller achieve measurable ROI by people buying three at a time to complete the boombox.
Frankly, I’m disappointed with the lack of creativity from the larger beer manufactures; but Miller created something special here.
I would like to see a lot more of this in the future.
“First released in 1966, this stunning poster was created by John Rieben for Container Corporation of America’s Chicago Cultural Communication Project. Set in Helvetica over a gray ground, Mr. Rieben’s poster is a modernist panegyric to the architectual visionaries that shaped Chicago.
Each name resonates as a girder within a typographic edifiice. While calling direct attention to Mies Van der Rohe, homage is given to a number of other luminaries – some more familiar than others.”

“According to the World Health Organization (WHO), unhealthy diet is amongst one of the leading causes of the major non-communicable diseases. Can design encourage people to rethink their relationship with healthy food to gain a balanced diet?
The series of food packaging were created from the observations on personal behaviors. Using the recognizable stereotyping packaging would make people feel more physically and physiologically connected with those daily objects. By giving the good food a little make over, it could contribute the availability of healthy food and encourages people to make a change for their everyday life.”
I love the idea of rebranding food, something that is usually so traditional in nature. It’s really amazing to see the difference a fresh approach makes. If I was in a grocery store and I saw this, it would definitely make me stop and think twice.
“The future excites me so much, that is why I made this video. We need to be inspired by the immense possibilities of the future and work extremely hard to achieve them. We can do it, we just have to commit.

In these turbulent times, I often forget how truly amazing the world around me is. I also neglect to remember the wonderful things happening every day, on every corner of the earth.
